Two things. First, isn’t this the second failed Christmas terror attack on an airliner? Wasn’t the failed attempt by would-be shoe bomber, ‘Richard Reed’ (by the way, a name he hadn’t used in years, but was promulgated by the AP so as to obscure the fact that this half a jerk was another practitioner of the religion of peace that was trying to kill Americans), also an attempted Christmas attack? I’m amazed by the lengths to which our forces are restrained by command to not run major operations during the month of ‘ramadan’(which I refuse to capitalize, by the way, but is somehow always referred to by our islamic suck-up media as the ‘holy month of -’), or any other islamic so-called ‘holy’ day, however, the members of the religion of peace that decide the time is right to kill some Christians seem to think the best time is on Christian or Jewish holy days. That policy of self-restraint should be abandoned.
Secondly, did anyone notice that it took less than 24 hours for the AP to run a story claiming that an unidentified source, on the condition of anonymity, stated that the U.S. Intelligence had known about the terror connections of the guy who tried to blow up the plane for two years? What struck me as funny was that, while watching the morning coverage of this story, I had no sooner said to my wife “I wonder how long it will take for the Administration to start blaming Bush for this?”. Well, not long apparently. So let me get this straight, on the morning after Christmas, less than 12 hours after the event, the AP is able to locate some highly placed source, somewhere in the machinery of Homeland Security, who happens to have first hand knowledge of the name of this asshole and also knows that he’s been known to have terrorist connections for 2 years, which just happens to be long enough open the window to blame the Bush Administration. I don’t buy it, let me tell you what I think. My guess is that the highly placed source is either David Axelrod or Rahm Emmanuel and that they are running damage control for Chairman Obeyme, instructing the AP as to what line to run in order to deflect criticism away from the Chosen One. Why else would the source need to remain anonymous? This is either a matter of record or it isn’t, why the secrecy? This has to be the Administration leaking a story that they think will provide cover for Obeyme’s ineptitude on terrorism.
This would be the second attack in the last two months on his watch, whether they seek to blame Bush or not. Believe me, as the weeks go on, you’ll hear more and more about how this is the Bush Administration’s fault.

 U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder announced that the trial of KSM, mastermind of 9/11, would take place in a criminal court in New York City. This controversial decision and announcement has two purposes. First it provides the media with an alternative lead story to the Ft. Hood terrorist attack which has even elements of the usually sycophantic media perplexed as to how the Obeyme Administration try to spin this as anything other than a terrorist attack, occurring on Obeyme’s watch as C-in-C. Secondly, it is a statement by the Obeyme Administration that they view the attacks of 9/11 not as an act of war perpetrated on behalf of all practitioners of the religion of peace, but that it was a criminal act, like robbing the 7-11 or stealing a car. He’s basically saying that we had no right to wage war on those that committed this act, and that the war was unjust.

Consider this in light of our Dear Leader’s hesitation in sending requested troops to the Commanding General on the ground in Afghanistan, or his comment that he ‘is not comfortable with the concept of victory in Afghanistan’, not to mention the fact that the administration has said they will no longer use the term ‘War On Terror’ and what were formerly referred to as acts of terrorism are now called ‘man-caused disasters’. Can you imagine this inexperienced punk actually questioning the judgement of one of our most experienced General’s in the field? What is there to consider? Does Obeyme actually believe that he knows better than McChrystal? No, he knows that he doesn’t, he’s playing a political game while waiting for the next set Afghan War Popularity Polls or Additional Troop Deployment Polls to come in. He does not care about the well being of the men and women on the ground in Afghanistan, or he would have immediately sent the additional forces without question.

He has no intention of pursuing victory in Afghanistan. He will pursue his bash America First policy around the globe to please his islamic masters. My guess is that KSM will have all charges dismissed due to the confession be extracted through water boarding, this is a very real possibility. This will representative of Obeyme proselytizing all of America before islam. Remember, he’s already bowed to the Saudi King for all of us.

The Bush Administration was correct in not bringing these scumbag goat breeders into the U.S., where they screwed up was by not executing them in the field. You don’t have to be a lawyer to see that these war criminals have no business being tried in a U.S. criminal court, so this is obviously being done for another reason. He is debasing the war from its foundations in order to delegitimize it. Then, he can bring the troops home, leaving the Afghanis and Pakistanis to fare for themselves against the Taliban, which will lead to a complete radical islamic takeover of both countries. Obeyme is, at his core, a muslim first and foremost.

Whether or not it has dawned on you, we are at war with all of islam, we just don’t know it yet. This is the new crusade- the new islamic crusade. This is no different than what the muslims have done over the centuries. They infiltrate their way into the culture of other countries claiming to be peaceful, and then when there are enough of them, they start killing non-believers. This has happened time and time again, but the only Crusades that get talked about are the ones of the Christian nations when they woke up and finally did something to drive these murdering bastards out of their lands. You can read about it here. Whether you agree with my macro view of the situation or not, one thing is clear – Obama has surrendered.

Posted here at The Weekly Standard is the entire content of Dick Cheney’s speech this morning at AEI. It is a substantial and powerful speech. It was a no-holds barred match this morning. Obama standing in his corner with the beautiful backdrop of the Archives around him and the the Constitution of the United States directly behind him and his teleprompter in front. Cheney standing at a simple podium at American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research reading from paper. If these two had been in a cage…wow! In my opinion Cheney delivered a couple of drop kicks that would have toppled the President if only they had been in a cage!

“Yet for all these exacting efforts to do a hard and necessary job and to do it right, we hear from some quarters nothing but feigned outrage based on a false narrative. In my long experience in Washington, few matters have inspired so much contrived indignation and phony moralizing as the interrogation methods applied to a few captured terrorists.”

I might add that people who consistently distort the truth in this way are in no position to lecture anyone about “values.” Intelligence officers of the United States were not trying to rough up some terrorists simply to avenge the dead of 9/11. We know the difference in this country between justice and vengeance. Intelligence officers were not trying to get terrorists to confess to past killings; they were trying to prevent future killings. From the beginning of the program, there was only one focused and all-important purpose. We sought, and we in fact obtained, specific information on terrorist plans.

Those are the basic facts on enhanced interrogations. And to call this a program of torture is to libel the dedicated professionals who have saved American lives, and to cast terrorists and murderers as innocent victims. What’s more, to completely rule out enhanced interrogation methods in the future is unwise in the extreme. It is recklessness cloaked in righteousness, and would make the American people less safe. “

This next one was a direct round house kick to the kidneys:

“The administration has found that it’s easy to receive applause in Europe for closing Guantanamo. But it’s tricky to come up with an alternative that will serve the interests of justice and America’s national security.”

 In contrast there was Obama as a child flailing his arms trying to delfect the blows! There is nothing to quote from BO’s speech, because it was exactly the same as every other campaign speech. He said nothing. Then Cheney delivers an upper-cut;

“This might explain why President Obama has reserved unto himself the right to order the use of enhanced interrogation should he deem it appropriate. What value remains to that authority is debatable, given that the enemy now knows exactly what interrogation methods to train against, and which ones not to worry about. Yet having reserved for himself the authority to order enhanced interrogation after an emergency, you would think that President Obama would be less disdainful of what his predecessor authorized after 9/11. It’s almost gone unnoticed that the president has retained the power to order the same methods in the same circumstances. When they talk about interrogations, he and his administration speak as if they have resolved some great moral dilemma in how to extract critical information from terrorists. Instead they have put the decision off, while assigning a presumption of moral superiority to any decision they make in the future.

If only they had been in a cage…
