Honduran ‘Coup’, eh?

So, what’s up in Honduras, our media refers to the removal of President Zelaya as a coup? Well, to listen to the White House, a democratically elected President has been removed from office by the military and must be restored to power. Great news! Our new beloved Chairman does have the balls to stand up for Democracy! Uhhhh, not so fast.
What’s really going on? Zelaya was removed by the military for attempting to subvert the Honduran Constitution. The Supreme Court of Honduras, a body that still considers their Constitution to be worth defending unlike some others of which I’m aware, ordered his removal and arrest on Constitutional grounds.
What did President Zelaya do to warrant this? Apparantly, he’s not a big fan of term limits – especially those which apply to the Presidency of Honduras. As, under Honduran law, he would have to relinquish power at the end of his term in November, so he announced that he would hold a national referendum to see if the people of Honduras wanted him to stay on in his role as President, perhaps in perpetuity.
Wow, that sounds really Democratic, right? I mean if the people want it, why not, right? Sorry knot heads, that’s not how Constitutionally based governments are supposed to work. There’s no provision in the Honduran Constitution for the President to announce national referendums as a means of amending the Constitution. So, his actions were illegal. He broke the law, and was removed from office by the Supreme Court of Honduras. The military immediately relinquished power back to the Legislature, who unanimously cheered the action. Done deal, right?
Wrong, enter the Obeyme Administration. As the blood of Iranian protesters was still running in the streets we were being lectured by the anointed one on how we cannot be seen as ‘meddling’ in Iran’s internal affairs. ‘The elections were the basis for a spirited debate…blah blah blah.” Excuse me, but I wasn’t aware that Ivy League debate teams ended their proceedings with one side shooting the debaters from the other team??? Call it what you will, but this was our beloved Chairman’s excuse for not supporting the protesters against the Iranian regime with a lot of American blood on its hands.
So, what’s at stake in Honduras that warrants American ‘meddling’, or strong arming in this case, for their enforcing of their own laws? A Marxist thugs regime, that’s what! Zelaya is a Marxist thug, supported by Castro and Hugo Chavez. It makes perfect sense that our own Marxist thug of a President would come to his defense. Now it all makes sense, right? Obeyme is calling for Zelaya to be reinstated, even though its clearly none of his business and would violate Honduran law and sovereignty. Did he even read that book that Chavez gave him?
Who knows, maybe Obeyme wants to hold his own referendum? In any case, this is the kind of stuff gets people killed and I believe that Chairman Obeyme will get one hell of a lot of people killed before he’s done.

I have had it with you and your administration, sir. Your conduct on your recent trip overseas has convinced me that you are not an adequate representative of the United States of America collectively or of me personally..

You are so obsessed with appeasing the Europeans and the Muslim world that you have abdicated the responsibilities of the President of the United States of America. You are responsible to the citizens of the United States. You are not responsible to the peoples of any other country on earth.

I personally resent that you go around the world apologizing for the United States telling Europeans that we are arrogant and do not care about their status in the world. Sir, what do you think the First World War and the Second World War were all about if not the consideration of the peoples of Europe ? Are you brain dead? What do you think the Marshall Plan was all about? Do you not understand or know the history of the 20th century?

Where do you get off telling a Muslim country that the United States does not consider itself a Christian country? Have you not read the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution of the United States? This country was founded on Judeo-Christian ethics and the principles governing this country, at least until you came along, come directly from this heritage. Do you not understand this?

Your bowing to the king of Saudi Arabia is an affront to all Americans. Our President does not bow down to anyone, let alone the king of Saudi Arabia . You didn’t show Great Britain , our best and one of our oldest allies, the respect they deserve yet you bow down to the king of Saudi Arabia .. How dare you, sir! How dare you!

You can’t find the time to visit the graves of our greatest generation because you don’t want to offend the Germans but make time to visit a mosque in Turkey .. You offended our dead and every veteran when you give the Germans more respect than the people who saved the German people from themselves. What’s the matter with you?

I am convinced that you and the members of your administration have the historical and intellectual depth of a mud puddle and should be ashamed of yourselves, all of you.

You are so self-righteously offended by the big bankers and the American automobile manufacturers yet do nothing about the real thieves in this situation, Mr. Dodd, Mr. Frank, Franklin Raines, Jamie Gorelic, the Fannie Mae bonuses, and the Freddie Mac bonuses. What do you intend to do about them? Anything? I seriously doubt it.

What about the U.S. House members passing out $9.1 million in bonuses to their staff members – on top of the $2.5=2 0million in automatic pay raises that lawmakers gave themselves? I understand the average House aide got a 17% bonus. I took a 5% cut in my pay to save jobs with my employer. You haven’t said anything about that. Who authorized that? I surely didn’t!

Executives at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will be receiving $210 million in bonuses over an eighteen-month period, that’s $45 million more than the AIG bonuses. In fact, Fannie and Freddie executives have already been awarded $51 million – not a bad take.. Who authorized that and why haven’t you expressed your outrage at this group who are largely responsible for the economic mess we have right now.

I resent that you take me and my fellow citizens as brain-dead and not caring about what you idiots do. We are watching what you are doing and we are getting increasingly fed up with all of you.

I also want you to know that I personally find just about everything you do and say to be offensive to every one of my sensibilities. I promise you that I will work tirelessly to see that you do not get a chance to spend two terms destroying my beautiful country.

Obama- Iran Has Right To Nuclear Power

Saw this on drudgereport, from the Washington Post article…

LONDON — President Barack Obama suggested that Iran may have some right to nuclear energy _ provided it proves by the end of the year that its aspirations are peaceful. In a BBC interview broadcast Tuesday, he also restated plans to pursue direct diplomacy with Tehran to encourage it set aside any ambitions for nuclear weapons it might harbor.
Iran has insisted its nuclear program is aimed at generating electricity. But the U.S. and other Western governments accuse Tehran of seeking atomic weapons.
“What I do believe is that Iran has legitimate energy concerns, legitimate aspirations,” Obama said, adding that the international community also “has a very real interest” in preventing a nuclear arms race.

So, let me get this straight. It’s ok for Iran to develop nuclear energy as long as its used for the generation of electricity, but its not acceptable for America to do the same?
If the energy crisis, or even the climate change crisis is real, the most direct path to relief for the American people is nuclear energy. Our development work is done and our reactor designs are the safest in the world, but somehow, we can’t build a plant in the U.S.? I wonder why that is? The Europeans have them everywhere, with France generating 80% of it’s electricity from nuclear reactors – I guess this is one more area in which we haven’t ‘recognized their leading role in the world’? Damn, we are arrogant!
Since 2002, it has been known that OH, PA, NY, WV sat atop a natural gas field estimated at 1.9T cubic feet called the Marcellus Shale Region. A more recent survey now estimates that region to contain 500T cubic feet, 10% of which could be immediately tapped by fracture drilling techniques.
That’s a lot of gas. So what’s happening? Are they preparing the rigs for drilling? Are they hiring the necessary workers from the unemployment roles to access this national asset? Uhhh, no. Per moonbattery, the field will be put off limits in the Waxman-Markey cap and tax bill because fracture drilling will be controlled by the EPA – which means ‘not allowed’.
So no clean burning natural gas, no nuclear power, no domestic or offshore oil exploration, but by all means, let’s encourage Iran to build some nuclear power plants? Am I the only one who feels like they’ve taken crazy pills here?
The only conclusion to reach from this is that cap and tax legislation has nothing to do with the so called climate change and everything to do with social control and extorting money from the populace. (Which we already knew, this is just more confirmation.)
The second conclusion to reach is that Obama hates Israel, and wants to see it destroyed. I have some problems with Israel but none of them have to do with the Palestinians – I could give a shit about them,( my issues date back to 1967 and the USS Liberty incident, for which I think Israel still needs to atone). But that aside, its pretty handy to have a friendly Democracy in the den of snakes that is the Middle East. Remember, many of the same Middle Eastern countries that hate Israel so much wore the Nazi uniform during WWII.
Without digressing too much, it is amazing to see how Obeyme publicly recognizes Iran’s legitimate need for nuclear energy, yet fails to recognize that of his own country. Well, maybe it’s not that amazing, when you consider what his agenda for our nation is.

That’s fine, but it’s a little late- too bad they didn’t have the balls to challenge Chairman Obeyme on this during the campaign. What bunch of dunder heads the Commucrats are. Sure, let’s release the enemy combatants into the streets of the good ‘ol USA. Aren’t there any adults left in Washington or are all of these Commucrats mentally ill adolescent-minded imbeciles? Wait a minute, I think I answered my own question. Yea!!! Hopey-Change!!!
In a related story, Ann Coulter shreds the new claim by the MSM that waterboarding, as practiced by the Japanese after WWII, was prosecuted as a war crime. This is a must read.

I ask you to watch this video and compare this to the recent Obeyme ‘Apologize For America Tour’. What a man Reagan was espousing the clear principles of freedom and liberty, and at height of The Cold War, standing before the ultimate symbols of the rift between East and West, the Brandenburg Gate and Berlin Wall – not apologizing for America to curry favor with the crowd, but calling out the KGB thug Gorbachev and the Soviet Union for the failures that they perpetrated upon generations of their people. That is the definition of the leader of the free world, and a far cry from what we have occupying the White House at present.

Now, not only do we have to tolerate the sophomoric and naive antics of the Obeyme Administration running down the country abroad to enhance his incredibly narcissistic self-image, we are subject to the mainstream media rolling out imbecilic empty-headed idiots like Meghan McCain to tell us what the Republican Party should be. I keep hearing how ‘we need to repackage the Repbublican brand’ so it appeals to more people. WRONG!
There is a problem with the Republican party, but it has nothing to do with how the Republican brand has been packaged and sold to the American people, it is that the the Republican brand that has been packaged and sold bears no resemblance to anything that can be identified as vaguely Republican. This is due to the big-tent Republicans, both Bush’s, Rove, McCain, & Gingrich, that took the reins of the party after Reagan, and their misguided belief that the party had to change to appeal to various groups -an elitist, racist, and very Democrat-like philosophy in my opinion.
True Republicanism cuts across racial and economic lines on principle and does not need to be sold, it sells itself. For those of you who say that Conservatism, as described by Burke, Kirk, and Reagan is dead, let me remind you that Reagan won two of the largest electoral landslides in the history of the country by espousing three conservative and traditionally Republican themes: Government is too big, taxes are too high, and Communism is evil. That’s it. Create a clear, bright and optimistic American theme, contrast it with the failures of Socialist Democrat’s policies, and people will flock to it from all sides. It has worked before and it will work again.
Not all young people believe in Socialism, but you have to define something in which they can believe, not just present Socialism-lite and say ‘Hey look, we use Mac’s and blackberrys too, so vote for us’. The Republican party needs to teach young people about traditional American and Conservative ideals, and directly contrast this with the Democrats legacy of Slavery, the KKK, Jim Crowe and Segregation. Republicans need to go for the throat with the treasonous, racist Democrats.
Keep the message clear and bright, and the undecided’s will flock to it like bugs to a light. Reagan proved this; we just need the courage of his convictions.
Take time to watch the Reagan address at 1964 RNC – he is awesome and talks about the SAME PROBLEMS THAT WE HAVE TODAY!

Torture? REALLY?

I’ve put off commenting on this as events have unfolded over the last week. Chariman Obeyme decided to release confidential memos on U.S. ‘enhanced’ interrogation techniques. Not only did they release the memos, they released the letterhead and fonts with which the memos were printed which, no doubt, will lead to countless fakes yet to come. I’ve read the descriptions and as unpleasant as some of them sound, none of them amount to torture in my mind.
Anyone who has read any accounts of torture employed by various intelligence services during WWII has to laugh at the notion that these actions constitute torture of any shape or variety. You don’t have to dig very deep, or very far back in history to find examples of real torture from Mexico to North Korea, Veitnam, Cambodia – or Iraq and Afghanistan, the vast majority of which has been exercised at hands other than those of the U.S..
Should we torture? It depends. Personally, I would have liked to have seen KSM disemboweled before all of the Gitmo detainees – very slowly and painfully, doused in pig fat, and lit on fire, or perhaps a full body waxing would have done -but that’s just me. I happen to think that the violent loss of 3000 innocent American lives warrants some level of retribution beyond a couple of gallons of water poured up his nose. I suppose we gained information from him that saved American lives, so it was worth keeping him alive, but we should have killed him immediately after he could provide no more information. But, such barbaric behavior is not our in our play book – at least not in the one that Obama, in his most recent act of treason, opened for the enemy.
Was what we did torture? I don’t fucking care, how about that! I’d water board a million terrorists to save one, ONE American life. Who was tortured? These people, or KSM? I think you know the answer – or at least, my answer.
So, Obeyme wants to prosecute the Bush Administration officials associated with the decision to pursue this policy – guess what? I doubt it. It’s not that I can’t believe that they wouldn’t try to damage the country by pursuing this, it’s the timing. Notice, everybody is talking about this canard of an investigation instead of talking about Obama’s imbecilic behavior abroad on the South of the border leg of his ‘Apologize For America Tour’. I honestly believe that the talk of an investigation and prosecutions will die off in a few weeks when everybody has forgotten about Chairman Obeyme bowing to his Saudi master and high-fiving Marxist thugs.
Of course, I could be wrong, nothing surprises me about this Marxist sack of shit of a ‘president’ currently residing in the White House anymore. I apologize for the profanity, but that’s honestly what I think, and that’s just the most concise method of expression I have.

Frommmm Moonbattery – It’s good to see that Chairman Obeyme is keeping up with his reading while on the road – especially good that he’s reading something consistent his vision for America and not just a novel like, oh, I don’t know, ‘Atlas Shrugged’? Fareed Zakaria describes America’s reduced role in the world in his book ‘The Post-American World’ due to the rise of other nations. How appropriate!
I know, he probably ‘inherited the book from the previous Administration’. Jimmy Carter would have had the good sense to put a different dust jacket on the book like ‘Democracy In America’, or ‘John Adams’. Or, maybe he did put another dust jacket on it and the book is actually ‘The Communist Manifesto’?
Somehow, I think he’s got a plan and we’ll all be let in on it soon.

This is the same Chavez that called Obama ‘an idiot’ about a month ago. Looks like they’re good buddies now that Obama has blamed the U.S. for all of the worlds ills – including the drug trade.
I think the picture says it all. This guy (on the left) is going to get a lot of people killed before its all said and done. He’s a naive narcissist who truly believes that all is about him, with no respect for the Office, it’s protocols, or for that matter the American People. He despises us. Is that the official handshake of Marxist thugs? I suppose so.

Obama Bows For All Of Us

This is still really bothering me. There was absolutely no coverage of this in the MSM outlets. It is disgusting for this man, as President of U.S., to bow to a King who owns slaves and 19 of whose subjects were directly involved in the attack 9/11 attacks. Makes you wonder about all of those donations he reportedly received from the Middle East Muslim sources by Credit Card, in the tens of millions of dollars, but all done in small amounts to avoid the reporting requirements.

I think the commentary says something along the lines of ‘President Obama bows to his Master for all of America’. Here’s a little tidbit for you. Do you realize that this was the first time in history that a U.S. President has actually bowed to a Monarch or King? This shows an immense disrespect for all Americans, present, past, and future, the Presidency, and an immense lack of understanding of what it means to be the President of the United States – or an American for that matter.
Who and what is this guy, and where the hell did he come from? He’s the great pretender to the Presidency, he is a radical Marxist with very little experience, and I really don’t know from where it is he comes or to where it is he thinks he’s taking this Country. I’ve got an idea, but nobody knows-except him.
