   I first off would like to say out front that I am a fan of your show.  I watch your show most days, listen to a part of your radio program most days and I have read two of your books.  I would like to thank you for the work you do so well.  I have questions though.  You do always tell us to &#8220;Question with boldness&#8221; and I&#8217;d like to do that now even though I know I won&#8217;t get through the question before you have me fixed for a nut case. I am no nut case, and these are not generally issues I ever attend to.  I am no 911 truther.  I&#8217;m not even really a birther.  There are people out there who are.  Do they not have the right to &#8220;question with boldness&#8221; as you proclaim?  What is wrong with the questions?  What is it about this issue that bothers you so much?<br />
   I listened to your interview with Medina of Texas and how you smeared her for the 911 issue.  I listen when you berate people who question the citizenship of our current president.  You call them crazy.  Where is your regard for their concerns?  You malign people for doubts.  Truthers?  Yes, I think it is a farfetched idea.  However there have been governments that have done worse.  Are these people allowed to voice their concerns and &#8220;question with boldness&#8221; like anyone else?  They should be.  Birthers?  Again it may sound crazy but they have a right.  I would say birthers actually have legitimate points, in that the constitution requires citizenship for our president.  There is also a reason for that.  Our founders, whom you like to look to for guidance, did not want someone who might have issues of allegiance. I don&#8217;t know all the ins and outs of what they believe, but I do know that an anouncement in a newspaper is not proof of citizenship.  I could not bring in the newspaper anouncement from my birth as proof enough for a driver&#8217;s license!  And yet for some reason when someone even raises the issue, you get your dander up and start demeaning them in a way which would make Alinsky proud!<br />
   So my questions to you are as follow: Do you indeed believe that we should &#8220;question with boldness&#8221;? Or does that only apply to the issues which you and the management at Fox News find palatable?  </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The spectacle of the Demoncrats marching past the Tea Partiers in D.C., just prior to the vote on this disaster of a healthcare bill, was just a little too much for me to take.  I mean here&#8217;s Nancy Pelosi, gavel in hand, marching with members of the congressional black caucus (racist black wannabe plantation masters club of congress) past the people at the rally just trying incite some sort of sound bite or video clip they could use to brand the Tea Party Movement as a racist, right-wing mob.  What happened?  Nothing.  The expected claims of racial heckling by the black congressman, of course with no supporting video or audio evidence, but this was predictable.<br />
Interesting it is how the elite white demoncrats can always call on their &#8216;house negroes&#8217; to gin up some sort of racial injustice whenever they need a distraction from the evil they are perpetrating on the rest of the populace. This isn&#8217;t the first time they&#8217;ve done this.  I mean what other possible purpose could there have been for this &#8216;Selma-esque&#8217; walk past the &#8216;angry white mob&#8217;.  The demoncrats had the votes to pass this bill  knew without a doubt that what they were about to do was universally unpopular and would cost them in the mid-term elections.  Strategy?  Brand those who oppose the bill as racists!  They&#8217;ll be too busy defending themselves to attack us.  Why?  Because the media will help beat the opposition to a pulp and they&#8217;ll be too intimidated to speak out against us &#8211; and besides, it&#8217;s what we always do.<br />
How dare these unwashed, uneducated, unenlightened, and apparently unappreciative cretins, challenge our superior ability(we know it&#8217;s superior because our Ivy League college professors told us so) to make their health decisions for them, not to mention better allocate their earnings ( money we, congress, allow them to keep for performing the menial, mindless tasks that they do as &#8216;work&#8217;, whatever that is&#8230; ) for the greater good (i.e. any policy keep demoncrats in the majority in perpetuity by creating more government largess dependent people).  This is essentially the arrogance of the demoncrat leadership, acting in the face of popular opinion, defined.<br />
The Tea Party supporters are the ordinary people who pay the bills.  You can tell that they are not the seasoned, darling protestors of the left because they actually clean up after themselves and don&#8217;t turn cars over or loot surrounding places of business.  Who doesn&#8217;t recall fondly the rallying cry of the mobs of L.A. during the Rodney King trials &#8211; &#8220;Yeah, I&#8217;m pissed about those cops beating on Rodney!  That&#8217;s why I just stole this VCR from that store!&#8221;.  To the media, that describes &#8216;legit&#8217; protestor.  The Tea Party people work jobs, pay the bills and see their liberty being stolen by these left wing fascists, and are being villianized by a shameless media.  In the face of this, they continue to show up at the rallies.<br />
The fact that Pelosi performed that in your face goose step procession in front of the tea party protesters prior to instituting her, Reid, and Obeyme&#8217;s fascist/socialist agenda reveals that their strategy will be to smear  and intimidate their way through the mid-term elections.  No surprise here, but it&#8217;s pretty obvious that they are on the attack now.<br />
The so-called spitting incident, proven to be a load of crap, and subsequent cries from the demoncrat leadership for the Republican&#8217;s to condemn the &#8216;violence&#8217; are very interesting to me.  The notion that the Republican&#8217;s have some how incited violence by arguing against the bill, raising awareness to the encroachment on liberties contained within, and encouraging citizens to contact their representatives is beyond unbelievable.  Apparently, no dissent is permitted in Obamaland.  It&#8217;s getting close to the point where it&#8217;s illegal to be a Republican anymore.  The demoncrats do not recognize any accountability to the populace whatsoever, whatever happens as a result of their extreme, unpopular actions, the Republicans will be blamed, the media will comply with their marching orders.<br />
At what point would the Founders make the argument that it would be appropriate to spit upon a member of a tyrannical Congress?  I&#8217;m really not sure, but I would think that it would have been well before now in this incessant march towards the surrender of all individual God-given liberties.  In fact, I think they would have advocated far stronger action in their day against such abuses.  The level of taxation against which they declared independence was far lower than that to which we are subjected today.  They rebelled on the basis of principal, not the taxes themselves.  It was their lack of representation in the Parliament against which they rebelled.<br />
We are told that we are represented in the Congress and therefore have no complaint that would justify any action against the Government.  But how represented are we if public opinion is so strongly against this bill, yet the President and the congress Jam this abortion down our throats?  I&#8217;d say that at present, the only ones represented in D.C. are the lawyers and the lobbyists &#8211; not the people.  That is a situation that our Founders would have seen as worthy of some level of rebellion.<br />
For now, we need to rebel at the ballot box in November.  The mid-term elections are the perfect venue for nationwide rebellion against tyranny.  Our goal should not be to establish a majority in both houses, it should be to banish the Democrats from power forever.  We should fight in every district for every seat regardless of how entrenched the incumbent may be.<br />
Our fight needs to start at home by educating and pressuring those family members who just can&#8217;t seem get how there is no free lunch to support Republican candidates.  The government can&#8217;t give anything to anyone that it doesn&#8217;t have to take from someone else first.  It can&#8217;t grant rights to anyone that they do not already have, only limit the rights of others.  It can&#8217;t create a job, only limit the creation of private sector jobs by pulling potential investment capital from the private economy.  And finally, government can&#8217;t prevent your death, or your accountability to your maker, so don&#8217;t put your faith in it &#8211; for anything!<br />
If we fail in November, it will be time to consider more aggressive actions &#8211; none of which include violence by the way.  We still have a few cards to play &#8211; like starving the government of tax revenue which we&#8217;ll discuss when the time comes.  But for now, we need to focus on that which we can control &#8211; election turnout for Republican candidates in November.<br />
Jefferson said that &#8220;The tree of liberty may need to be refreshed from time to tome with the blood of patriots and tyrants.&#8221;  That time may come and we owe it to our ancestors and children to be ready for that day should it arrive in our lifetimes, however, now is not the time.  But the Demoncrats cannot be allowed to shirk  their accountability to the populace for their extreme legislative behavior.  Whatever may happen, extremism begets extremism, and the responsibility lies squarely on their quivering shoulders.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Last year, I wrote a post called <a href="http://libertybunker.com/wp-admin/post.php?action=edit&amp;post=448">&#8216;Read The Road Signs&#8221;</a> the intent of which was point out that polarization of the populace leads to extreme behavior. The two examples I used were the John Brown uprising at Harper&#8217;s Ferry and bombing of the Murrah building in Oklahoma City. If you read the previous article, you&#8217;ll see that I am not an advocate of either action by either individual. The point was to see how a perception of disenfranchisement can lead to independent action on the part of the disenfranchised.<br />
Tonight, in abject denial of popular opinion, the House passed the Senate version of the health care bill through fairly extreme means and outside of standard procedures &#8211; especially for a bill of this magnitude. There was not a single Republican vote in favor. Does anyone doubt that there will be an extreme sense disenfranchisement attached to this encroachment on individual liberty? If not, wait until the taxes hit &#8211; after the mid-term elections later this year. This bill will stifle entrepreneurism and job growth across this country. We will face higher and higher taxes for less and less benefit. I fully expect that unemployment will continue to rise as a result of this and the economy will stagnate. Somebody will go over the edge &#8211; it&#8217;s inevitable.</p>
<p>Although I&#8217;m not advocating any violent response to this latest unconstitutional tyranny, I&#8217;m thinking that it&#8217;s time get the microwave popcorn ready because I think something is going to happen &#8211; and when it does, look out &#8211; because then you&#8217;re all going to find out what Chairman Obeyme is all about.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Senator Jim Bunning, courageously held a one man filibuster this week against the Reid-Obama machine against unfunded deficit spending.  Bunning&#8217;s position was painted by the liberal press as being against funding extended unemployment benefits but, of course, his actual position would never correctly covered, which was as follows:  fine, extend the benefits, but PAY FOR IT!!!!!!<br />
Bunning pointed out that the Senate had just extended the debt ceiling and, include in that bill, a &#8220;Pay Go&#8221; provision that mandated that additional deficit spending be paid for through additional taxes or cutting existing programs.  Obama beat his chest about this in front of the cameras numerous times and, actually, this is the second subsequent bill to be passed by the Senate that does not identify the funding.  Bunning was attempting to hold Reid and specifically Obeyme&#8217;s feet to the deficit fire, and he should be applauded for his efforts.<span id="more-1586"></span><br />
For the record, let&#8217;s review some of the money that this corrupt administration and congress has &#8216;appropriated&#8217; over the last year.  $787B in &#8216;stimulus&#8217; money, less than a third of which has been spent.  Where is the rest of it?  Why could not this critical funding of unemployment benefits come from the so called stimulus money?  It has already been borrowed at the expense of our children.  It is still apparently available, as there is no accounting of at least $400B of it having been spent.  Why did we have to borrow and additional $30B last week on a &#8216;jobs&#8217; bill, and now another $10B for unemployment benefits, outside of the Pay Go provision which apparently will only apply to any sort of defense spending.  This is crap.  If this doesn&#8217;t piss you off, nothing will.<br />
Bunning&#8217;s effort was conspicuously devoid of fellow Republican support.  Remember this in November.  This is your money and at some point, you and your children will have to pay for it.  Bunning&#8217;s point was not that unemployment benefits should not be extended, merely that it should be paid for with money already appropriated.  He made the point that if the Senate would not stand against this deficit spending, then they would never pay for anything.  This is the truth.  The Senate will continue to spend money that they do not have because it is in their interest to do so.  It is as simple as that.<br />
If we do not return to the original checks and balances within Congress, as established by the Framers of our Constitution, i.e. by repealing the 17th Amendment and making Senators accountable to the States, we are done.  The money will be worth nothing.  Save it if you want, stash it in your 401k, but if the course is not changed soon, it will stolen by an unaccountable Congress through inflation, and that which you saved your entire life will be worthless.<br />
It&#8217;s a huge deal, folks.  Wake up, start writing everybody you can, and let your voice be heard before they silence all of us by royal decree.  They are going to spend us and our children out of existence as a country.  If it continues, you will see the end of the United States of America, as you have known it, within your lifetime &#8211; or at least within the next 15 to 20 years.<br />
So, to Senator Jim Bunning, a big thank you from the Bunker.  And to the rest of the Republicans who would not back him up on this &#8211; SHAME ON YOU!!!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Some forty-five years ago, perhaps the greatest American Patriot of our time summed up the choice that lay before the people in the 1964 Presidential race.  While stumping for the Goldwater campaign, Reagan described the magnitude of the decision as follows:</p>
<blockquote><p><em>If we lose freedom here, there is no place to escape to. This is the last stand on Earth. And this idea that government is beholden to the people, that it has no other source of power except to sovereign people, is still the newest and most unique idea in all the long history of man&#8217;s relation to man. This is the issue of this election. Whether we believe in our capacity for self-government or whether we abandon the American revolution and confess that a little intellectual elite in a far-distant capital can plan our lives for us better than we can plan them ourselves.</em></p></blockquote>
<p>Reagan saw so clearly then the reality to which the present generation of the American People are only now beginning to awaken.  Throughout history, freedom is by far the exception rather than the rule.  Tyranny has been the norm since the beginning of recorded history &#8211; likely as far back as cavemen scrawling on cave walls with charcoaled sticks.  Only at a few brief points in time has man dabbled in democratic notions, formed Republics, and lived under a system of natural laws, respect for property, and acknowledgement of individual rights.  All previous attempts failed.  The Democracies denigrated into mob rule and collapsed, the Republics fell victim to corruption and the ambitions of men who had other ideas about how people should be &#8216;ruled&#8217;.<br />
Our Republic, designed by men who spent their waking hours studying all that had been written of previous attempts at democratic rule, human nature, and philosophy, stands today as Reagan&#8217;s &#8216;shining city on the hill&#8217;.  No doubt the lights of liberty have dimmed significantly with recent events, but the core of the American Experiment still burns on.  People are beginning to realize what is at stake.  America is exceptional &#8211; not as Chairman Obeyme said &#8220;American is exceptional in the same way that the British or French see themselves as exceptional&#8221; (paraphrased).  Obeyme views us, the American People and our system of self-governance, as a European king would have viewed his subjects and such notions &#8211; with disdain.  I don&#8217;t think this could be more plain.  Our Republic is still intact, although probably fatally broken if some things aren&#8217;t changed soon, we need to remain vigilant and protect, with our last breath, that which remains.  That is our duty not just to our forefathers, but to our posterity.<br />
So, in the wake of the Brown victory in Massachusetts, don&#8217;t relax or believe that the Marxists will now just fold their tents and embrace the Constitution and the rule of law.  They are committed and still in charge.  We need to push back, continue to write letters, and demand that they be accountable to us, the American people.  Remember, the federal government has no legitimate power other than that which is granted through the Constitution.  As Jefferson <em>reportedly</em> said:</p>
<blockquote><p><em>The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the Constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first.</em></p></blockquote>
<p>We all need to keep the pressure on through the November elections.  Talk to everyone you know even at the expense of alienating them &#8211; if they aren&#8217;t interested enough to engage in thoughtful debate and take a stand against tyranny, then they are part of the problem facing this country.  Stay vigilant and don&#8217;t get complacent, there&#8217;s a lot of work to be done.</p>

I would have forgotten about the anniversary had it not been for the fact that I was getting pinged by the web hosting company for renewal.  It was a little surprising because with everything that has happened in the last year, it seemed like a lot more time had passed.  As much as I&#8217;ve enjoyed putting the site together and the learning that has gone along with it, I was undecided as to whether or not to keep it going.  Opportunities to write have not been as readily available as when I&#8217;d first set up the site, but to shut it down now would result in one less voice, however insignificant, against the tyranny presently being perpetrated upon us.<br />
So, the rent has been paid for another year in the Bunker &#8211; I considered going month to month under the assumption that if this last year was any kind of indicator, it can only be a few months until Chairman Obeyme declares the 1st Amendment an instrument of hate and intolerance, and therefore null and void.  My, thanks to all who have contributed to the site and its upkeep, and of course to the handful of regular readers who stop by. Although a few battles have been won, the war is not over.  It will be a long ten months until the mid-term elections &#8211; and longer still until the Presidential election (if the emperor actually allows an election to be held).  Given the short memory and attention span of the average American, it&#8217;s imperative that no opportunity be missed to point out the implications of the Obeyme Administration&#8217;s encroachment on our God-given liberties.  The enemy is inside the gates, fix your bayonets!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;ve seen a number of articles addressing the lessons to taken, by both Republicans and Democrats, from Scott Brown&#8217;s stunning upset victory over Martha Coakley in the bluest of blue states, Massachusetts.  Most are along the lines of &#8216;The American People reject Obama care&#8221;, or &#8220;Obama needs to move to the center to salvage his Presidency&#8221;, or &#8220;this is a clear repudiation of Obama&#8217;s Socialist agenda&#8221;, all of which are true to some extent.  However, I think there is a more fundamental message here than is captured in those I&#8217;ve described above, and it&#8217;s very simple.  The American people, without respect to party affiliation or political bent, don&#8217;t like being told what to do by their government.<br />
As the Ivy League Universities have cranked out their product of European Socialist wannabe, so-called intellectual &#8216;progressive&#8217; ideologues since the early 1900&#8242;s, who have in turn, through manipulation of public education and news media of all forms attempted to blind the unclean populace to that which is their heritage, they&#8217;ve ignored one very critical fact that will make there ultimate goal of Marxist Utopia far more difficult to acheive.  Like a strand of DNA through every American, there is natural tendency to rebel against tyranny in all forms.  It is part of our nature and our culture.  It is that rebellious nature that was on display in Massachusetts last Tuesday.<span id="more-1489"></span><br />
The results of the election will be interpreted by the self-anointed Ivy League intellectuals as shocking evidence that the unclean masses are even less intelligent than they had originally thought.  This will be perceived as confirming evidence that we clearly can&#8217;t see that which is good for ourselves and therefore cannot be trusted to make our own decisions.  Make no mistake that this will be the mantra chanted within the Ivory Towers of &#8216;progressive thought&#8217;- this is how they think.  You are trolls without the high-cognitive abilities that they possess, which is why you cling to your guns and religion.<br />
But it is the roots of our rebellious nature that the European wannabe&#8217;s can&#8217;t quite grasp.  They see it as evidence of our collective ignorance largely because they view us as groups to be ruled (by them) rather than as individuals who consent to be governed.  The individualist DNA is the result of the fact that our culture is derived from self-reliance.  The people who came to and built this country had no castle walls behind which to hide.  Although they were &#8216;subjects&#8217; of the King of England until the rebellion, they viewed the world quite differently than their European ancestors, who recognized the &#8216;divine right of kings&#8217; and consented to be ruled by them.  When an attempt was made to subjugate the Colonies to the will of the king, they rebelled and established the greatest system of self-governance ever conceived.<br />
Socialism/Marxism is accepted by the Europeans because it is in their DNA to be ruled by kings.  The kings have been supplanted by large government bureaucracies &#8211; no less tyrannical that the monarchs of old.  Europeans have the DNA of a serf.  They are compliant and used to being told exactly how to live their lives, what fields of study for which they are eligible, and in what professions they will best serve the state.  That is why the Marxist policies are largely accepted in Europe, because the people are more comfortable in a state of tyranny.<br />
I would propose that a fundamental misunderstanding of the American people by the Marxist elites now in power is at the center of the shock they are now experiencing.  Remember, the Statists get into power by running as moderates or conservatives before the voters &#8211; never as what they are.  When Marxist policies and beliefs are presented to the American people for a vote they are always rejected because the are antithetical to our nature.  They, the statists understand that Americans are distrustful of their ideas and policies, what they failed to understand is that this is because it is in our nature to be so &#8211; not because of a lack of education.<br />
This is important because of the scope of the defeat clearly indicates that they will not be able to achieve their aims through their typical deceitful means- lying to the electorate.  Does this mean they will fold their tents and head back to Columbia University and develop a new theory and question their ideals?  Not likely.  The arrogance of these people is immeasurable.  They are in power, and they will not go quietly.  What other options do they have to achieve their aims?<br />
The conclusion that the Marxists will reach from the Massachusetts Miracle is that the only means to ultimately implementing their agenda in America is through violent revolution.  Although I&#8217;m not predicting violence to be perpetrated upon the American people by their government, I do believe there are methods of insurrection that could be employed against the American people in order to spread fear, and a public clamoring for a crack down which might involve the surrendering of certain liberties, including freedom of speech, the right to assemble and petition the Government.<br />
I&#8217;m not saying this will happen next week, but the message is clear- the Statist agenda cannot be achieved through the electoral process.  The political demographics of this Senatorial election prove this beyond any doubt.  All that this means is that another strategy will be employed, they will not give up.  Keep your eyes open and watch what happens next.  Note that Obama has already shifted focus to Big Banking &#8211; &#8220;We want our money back!!!&#8221;.  Money that they pretty much forced the banks to take in the first place and most of which has been repaid.  All dictators need an enemy on which to focus public anger and distract them from that which it is they are really doing.  Hitler had the Jews, Chavez and Castro had us, and Obeyme now has the banks, while of course last week it was the insurance companies.  But ultimately, they don&#8217;t want us looking at this election and seeing what it truly means.<br />

Now, this Marine vet, an obvious plant by Dick Cheney, goes off on this poor Representative in a mean, uncivil way.  Blah, blah, blah&#8230; how many times do I have to hear this?<br />
I&#8217;ll give this Representative credit for facing his Constituency, but he gets no sympathy from me.  This Marine is absolutely right on the money.  The Democrats are violating their oaths of office and they know it, the American People know it &#8211; and the Democrats are in complete disarray because they have no place to hide if they pass this abomination of a death bill.  If it wasn&#8217;t so serious a violation of the principles upon which the Republic was founded, you could characterize it as funny.  However, it is anything but funny.<br />
We are witnessing what could be the destruction of our great nation.  We have an inept Marxist ideologue and racist fool as President who, despite supposedly writing two biographies about his life has, as far as I can determine, never held a real job in his life, has no leadership skills whatsoever not to mention no conception of what the word means, and is bent on turning this country into a third world dictatorship out of some perverse sense of justice that can only be described as naive if not bizarre, and completely at odds with the founding tenets of this country.  Add in a complicit, extremely liberal Congress, bought and payed for by the trial lawyers lobbyists, and we have the makings of a complete undoing of the Constitution.<br />
No wonder they wanted to pass this bill before the August recess.  Now, that they&#8217;ve had to face the not-so-silent majority, they cry foul at every turn.  What happened?  I thought the leftists were the only ones that got to protest.<br />
They are scared and its up to all of us to keep them that way until 2010 when we can send them on their way.<br />
