The spectacle of the Demoncrats marching past the Tea Partiers in D.C., just prior to the vote on this disaster of a healthcare bill, was just a little too much for me to take. I mean here’s Nancy Pelosi, gavel in hand, marching with members of the congressional black caucus (racist black wannabe plantation masters club of congress) past the people at the rally just trying incite some sort of sound bite or video clip they could use to brand the Tea Party Movement as a racist, right-wing mob. What happened? Nothing. The expected claims of racial heckling by the black congressman, of course with no supporting video or audio evidence, but this was predictable.
Interesting it is how the elite white demoncrats can always call on their ‘house negroes’ to gin up some sort of racial injustice whenever they need a distraction from the evil they are perpetrating on the rest of the populace. This isn’t the first time they’ve done this. I mean what other possible purpose could there have been for this ‘Selma-esque’ walk past the ‘angry white mob’. The demoncrats had the votes to pass this bill knew without a doubt that what they were about to do was universally unpopular and would cost them in the mid-term elections. Strategy? Brand those who oppose the bill as racists! They’ll be too busy defending themselves to attack us. Why? Because the media will help beat the opposition to a pulp and they’ll be too intimidated to speak out against us – and besides, it’s what we always do.
How dare these unwashed, uneducated, unenlightened, and apparently unappreciative cretins, challenge our superior ability(we know it’s superior because our Ivy League college professors told us so) to make their health decisions for them, not to mention better allocate their earnings ( money we, congress, allow them to keep for performing the menial, mindless tasks that they do as ‘work’, whatever that is… ) for the greater good (i.e. any policy keep demoncrats in the majority in perpetuity by creating more government largess dependent people). This is essentially the arrogance of the demoncrat leadership, acting in the face of popular opinion, defined.
The Tea Party supporters are the ordinary people who pay the bills. You can tell that they are not the seasoned, darling protestors of the left because they actually clean up after themselves and don’t turn cars over or loot surrounding places of business. Who doesn’t recall fondly the rallying cry of the mobs of L.A. during the Rodney King trials – “Yeah, I’m pissed about those cops beating on Rodney! That’s why I just stole this VCR from that store!”. To the media, that describes ‘legit’ protestor. The Tea Party people work jobs, pay the bills and see their liberty being stolen by these left wing fascists, and are being villianized by a shameless media. In the face of this, they continue to show up at the rallies.
The fact that Pelosi performed that in your face goose step procession in front of the tea party protesters prior to instituting her, Reid, and Obeyme’s fascist/socialist agenda reveals that their strategy will be to smear and intimidate their way through the mid-term elections. No surprise here, but it’s pretty obvious that they are on the attack now.
The so-called spitting incident, proven to be a load of crap, and subsequent cries from the demoncrat leadership for the Republican’s to condemn the ‘violence’ are very interesting to me. The notion that the Republican’s have some how incited violence by arguing against the bill, raising awareness to the encroachment on liberties contained within, and encouraging citizens to contact their representatives is beyond unbelievable. Apparently, no dissent is permitted in Obamaland. It’s getting close to the point where it’s illegal to be a Republican anymore. The demoncrats do not recognize any accountability to the populace whatsoever, whatever happens as a result of their extreme, unpopular actions, the Republicans will be blamed, the media will comply with their marching orders.
At what point would the Founders make the argument that it would be appropriate to spit upon a member of a tyrannical Congress? I’m really not sure, but I would think that it would have been well before now in this incessant march towards the surrender of all individual God-given liberties. In fact, I think they would have advocated far stronger action in their day against such abuses. The level of taxation against which they declared independence was far lower than that to which we are subjected today. They rebelled on the basis of principal, not the taxes themselves. It was their lack of representation in the Parliament against which they rebelled.
We are told that we are represented in the Congress and therefore have no complaint that would justify any action against the Government. But how represented are we if public opinion is so strongly against this bill, yet the President and the congress Jam this abortion down our throats? I’d say that at present, the only ones represented in D.C. are the lawyers and the lobbyists – not the people. That is a situation that our Founders would have seen as worthy of some level of rebellion.
For now, we need to rebel at the ballot box in November. The mid-term elections are the perfect venue for nationwide rebellion against tyranny. Our goal should not be to establish a majority in both houses, it should be to banish the Democrats from power forever. We should fight in every district for every seat regardless of how entrenched the incumbent may be.
Our fight needs to start at home by educating and pressuring those family members who just can’t seem get how there is no free lunch to support Republican candidates. The government can’t give anything to anyone that it doesn’t have to take from someone else first. It can’t grant rights to anyone that they do not already have, only limit the rights of others. It can’t create a job, only limit the creation of private sector jobs by pulling potential investment capital from the private economy. And finally, government can’t prevent your death, or your accountability to your maker, so don’t put your faith in it – for anything!
If we fail in November, it will be time to consider more aggressive actions – none of which include violence by the way. We still have a few cards to play – like starving the government of tax revenue which we’ll discuss when the time comes. But for now, we need to focus on that which we can control – election turnout for Republican candidates in November.
Jefferson said that “The tree of liberty may need to be refreshed from time to tome with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” That time may come and we owe it to our ancestors and children to be ready for that day should it arrive in our lifetimes, however, now is not the time. But the Demoncrats cannot be allowed to shirk their accountability to the populace for their extreme legislative behavior. Whatever may happen, extremism begets extremism, and the responsibility lies squarely on their quivering shoulders.

Listen to Rep. Mike Pence take it to the Demoncrats as they attempt to pass one of the biggest pieces of legislation in terms of dollars in the history of the United States Of America without a vote! Unbelievable! Are they really going to do this – just cram it through with no vote? A blatantly unconstitutional act just so they can say they did it? This shows how desperate the Demons are for a win – at any cost. If you already have employer provided health insurance you’re going to be paying substantially higher taxes. Get ready fools, here comes the government to help you!

Senator Jim Bunning, courageously held a one man filibuster this week against the Reid-Obama machine against unfunded deficit spending. Bunning’s position was painted by the liberal press as being against funding extended unemployment benefits but, of course, his actual position would never correctly covered, which was as follows: fine, extend the benefits, but PAY FOR IT!!!!!!
Bunning pointed out that the Senate had just extended the debt ceiling and, include in that bill, a “Pay Go” provision that mandated that additional deficit spending be paid for through additional taxes or cutting existing programs. Obama beat his chest about this in front of the cameras numerous times and, actually, this is the second subsequent bill to be passed by the Senate that does not identify the funding. Bunning was attempting to hold Reid and specifically Obeyme’s feet to the deficit fire, and he should be applauded for his efforts.
For the record, let’s review some of the money that this corrupt administration and congress has ‘appropriated’ over the last year. $787B in ‘stimulus’ money, less than a third of which has been spent. Where is the rest of it? Why could not this critical funding of unemployment benefits come from the so called stimulus money? It has already been borrowed at the expense of our children. It is still apparently available, as there is no accounting of at least $400B of it having been spent. Why did we have to borrow and additional $30B last week on a ‘jobs’ bill, and now another $10B for unemployment benefits, outside of the Pay Go provision which apparently will only apply to any sort of defense spending. This is crap. If this doesn’t piss you off, nothing will.
Bunning’s effort was conspicuously devoid of fellow Republican support. Remember this in November. This is your money and at some point, you and your children will have to pay for it. Bunning’s point was not that unemployment benefits should not be extended, merely that it should be paid for with money already appropriated. He made the point that if the Senate would not stand against this deficit spending, then they would never pay for anything. This is the truth. The Senate will continue to spend money that they do not have because it is in their interest to do so. It is as simple as that.
If we do not return to the original checks and balances within Congress, as established by the Framers of our Constitution, i.e. by repealing the 17th Amendment and making Senators accountable to the States, we are done. The money will be worth nothing. Save it if you want, stash it in your 401k, but if the course is not changed soon, it will stolen by an unaccountable Congress through inflation, and that which you saved your entire life will be worthless.
It’s a huge deal, folks. Wake up, start writing everybody you can, and let your voice be heard before they silence all of us by royal decree. They are going to spend us and our children out of existence as a country. If it continues, you will see the end of the United States of America, as you have known it, within your lifetime – or at least within the next 15 to 20 years.
So, to Senator Jim Bunning, a big thank you from the Bunker. And to the rest of the Republicans who would not back him up on this – SHAME ON YOU!!!

** I guess I misunderstood that which Beck would be addressing in the scope of his documentary, although it was interesting – especially for anyone not familiar with the antics of Che, or Stalin’s starvation of the Ukraine, it really didn’t focus at all on the progressive movement, which I’d have sworn I heard him say that it would. I’ll have to see if he gets to this in future installments.** omb

Glenn Beck’s documentary on the impact of progressivism on America airs today at 3pm. I’ll be interested to see if he mentions the scourge of the 17th Amendment and how it has led to the control of the Congress by special interests and lobbyists, and to the out of control spending that is prevalent today. This is why our ‘system is broken’, per John McCain. Senator Zel Miller, upon his retirement from the Senate, stated in his last address to the Senate that the 17th Amendment was the instrument by which lobbyists gained control in Washington D.C., and should be repealed. I’ll be writing more on this soon, but watch Beck to see if he mentions it. If he doesn’t, he’s missing the boat.

I’ll give this Representative credit for facing his Constituency, but he gets no sympathy from me. This Marine is absolutely right on the money. The Democrats are violating their oaths of office and they know it, the American People know it – and the Democrats are in complete disarray because they have no place to hide if they pass this abomination of a death bill. If it wasn’t so serious a violation of the principles upon which the Republic was founded, you could characterize it as funny. However, it is anything but funny.
We are witnessing what could be the destruction of our great nation. We have an inept Marxist ideologue and racist fool as President who, despite supposedly writing two biographies about his life has, as far as I can determine, never held a real job in his life, has no leadership skills whatsoever not to mention no conception of what the word means, and is bent on turning this country into a third world dictatorship out of some perverse sense of justice that can only be described as naive if not bizarre, and completely at odds with the founding tenets of this country. Add in a complicit, extremely liberal Congress, bought and payed for by the trial lawyers lobbyists, and we have the makings of a complete undoing of the Constitution.
No wonder they wanted to pass this bill before the August recess. Now, that they’ve had to face the not-so-silent majority, they cry foul at every turn. What happened? I thought the leftists were the only ones that got to protest.
They are scared and its up to all of us to keep them that way until 2010 when we can send them on their way.

And so the spin has begun with Senator Durbin. This video shows Senator Durbin telling Congress that the health insurance companies are packing the town hall meetings with angry people to try to turn the tide against the president’s health care plan.
Take a look at You Tube there are videos from town hall meetings all over the country. People are showing up angry over the “health care plan”. Durbin goes on to say that it has as about as much impact as flooding the congressional switch boards “It doesn’t really mean anything…” The arrogance here and the audacity of him to disregard the public is astounding. I find this one short video very telling. What is it going to take to get through to Washington?

Mark Levin is the man! Mark captures the frustration of many Conservative Americans (most importantly me!) in this audio clip. He’s pissed, so am I, and with good reason. The Marxists in charge want to pretend that we have no Constitution and that they can do as they please. Well, they are beginning to find out that their assumptions are wrong and that Main St. Americans have a few things to say about their plans – and guess what, they, the Dem/Marxists, are whining about it.

Levin Issues Rallying Cry: ‘We Own This Country’ Not the Pol
by krs601

Here’s what the Dem/Marxists don’t understand – so many of them hail from the so-called Ivy League Legal institutions and are so out of touch with the rest of America, that they have totally misread the reaction of most Americans to their plans to exert even more centralized, politburo style controls over more aspects of their lives.
Most of them have never cleaned out the grease trap at the local family restaurant, or pumped gas(we used to do that anyway), or trenched in a powerline, or plowed a field, or broken a split rim from a truck tire with a sledge hammer. They have no idea of what real work is and how the ability to work an entry level job builds character and self respect. Well, here’s news to them – this country is filled with people with tons of self respect and they don’t need the Ivy League Harvard idiots running their lives. They have learned, through hard work and self reliance to do that for themselves and will resist, vehemently, their wrong headed, intellectually lazy ideas of how wonderful the world would be if the rest of us would just listen to them.
The Marxists(Dems) will ultimately fail in America. There are still too many of us who know why the freedom to fail is as important as the freedom to succeed and will not tolerate any further usurpations of our liberty.

…tax breaks for trial lawyers, that is. Wow, what a surprise, the single largest lobbying group in terms of dollars, given primarily to Democrats/Marxists, are pushing legislation to grant themselves a tax benefit, as Rick Moran of American Thinker points out here.
He also points out that aside from the direct $1.4B benefit, that there are likely to be other, more lucrative impacts.

Those who practice plaintiffs’ lawyer work learn quickly that it is a business similar to other capital businesses. Capital is placed at risk and a judgment is made whether or not it will bring a profit. Today the costs of litigation act as a curb against marginal and frivolous litigation. This is what makes the plaintiffs’ lawyers’ tax proposal of such great practical importance. While one cannot calculate it mathematically, having the federal government bear 40% of the initial costs allows plaintiff’s attorneys to take more cases with higher risks. The result to industries targeted by plaintiffs’ lawyers will be staggering.

Read the analysis by Victor E. Schwartz(American Tort Reform Association General Council) and Christopher E. Appel here.
