I'm a Power Systems Engineer. This whole green energy is a sham and everyone I work with as a consultant knows it. The only reason utilities do this is to say they are green. There will never be enough reliable wind or solar power to realistically supplement anything more than 10% of power generation. Everyone knows it, and yet they still push for it, but without any major breakthroughs in wind energy it doesn't stand a chance. Breakthrough = 100+MW per wind turbine.
