Business 101 In Chairman Obeyme’s Government Motors
By omb on Jul 2, 2009 in Obeyme, tyranny
Congresswoman Michele Bachman (R-Minn) describes how business now gets done in Chairman Obeyme’s ‘Chicago On The Potomac’ Auto industry, with respect to the purely fascist methodologies employed in choosing which auto dealerships stay open and which are shuttered.
What has happened to the auto dealer franchise owners in this country should make all Americans shudder. The federal government has violated all private contracts and state franchise laws in deciding which dealers should be closed and which should magnanimously be allowed to remain open. I’m sure there’s no politics involved in these decisions. Yeah, right.
The remaining franchises have been required to relinquish all rights back to the manufacturer, forced to take more inventory, immediately divest themselves of competing product lines, and best of all, stay silent about the terms of the agreement, or shutter their doors as well. Of course, that’s why you haven’t heard any of this, but its true, its happening, and its is as Michele Bachman points out, un-American in unprecedented terms.
What our geniuses in the main stream media have neglected to point out through all of this is that these dealerships cost the auto manufacturers NOTHING. That’s right, if they don’t sell a car all year, they still have to pay franchise fees to the manufacturers. If they lose money during the year, that loss does not translate to the bottom line of the manufacturer. The franchisee owns the loss. How then can it possibly help the auto manufacturers to close dealerships? How can it make them more competitive with imports by having fewer dealerships available for service after purchase? None of this makes sense until you start to look at who’s who amongst the dealers who’ve been designated to close. One thing is clear, this comes from the White House, and not the bankruptcy court.
American Thinker, among other blogs, has had a number of articles on suspicions of political motivations with regard to the dealership closings, one of which I’ll link to here. Please have a look for yourself. In conjunction with Rep. Michele Bachman’s comments, is there any doubt that Chigaco thug politics is fully rooted in Washington D.C.? You need a building permit? Call your Alderman and make a donation to his campaign and you’ll get your permit – otherwise, go fuck yourself. That’s how it works, that’s what they do, that’s what the American people elected. You may not be in the auto industry, but how long before this affects you? How many industries will Obeyme take over? Steel? Semiconductors? Energy? Everyone needs to take heed. Folks, it’s time to circle the wagons, they’re coming for all of us.
