Coming To A Town Near You – Club Gitmo Detainees!
By omb on May 8, 2009 in Foreign Policy, Obeyme, War On Terror
The GOP has put together an ad (below) to point out the idiocy of closing Club Gitmo. That’s fine, but it’s a little late- too bad they didn’t have the balls to challenge Chairman Obeyme on this during the campaign. What bunch of dunder heads the Commucrats are. Sure, let’s release the enemy combatants into the streets of the good ‘ol USA. Aren’t there any adults left in Washington or are all of these Commucrats mentally ill adolescent-minded imbeciles? Wait a minute, I think I answered my own question. Yea!!! Hopey-Change!!!
In a related story, Ann Coulter shreds the new claim by the MSM that waterboarding, as practiced by the Japanese after WWII, was prosecuted as a war crime. This is a must read.

That is actually an good ad. It is too little too late. Coulter’s piece is of course entertaining and informative at once. I particularly liked the reference to Ted Kennedy. This whole waterboarding thing is really a distraction isn’t it? Does be-heading qualify as ‘torture’? Or do your prisoners actually have to live and gain weight after the interrogation?

I think her reference to the Club Gitmo dinner rolls was my favorite!

I would hate to have to go through the dinner roll thing. I personally have experienced the so called waterboarding. I did not consider it torture. Being locked in a dark box that is just a bit too small for you is what I would call torture. 30 minutes seem like 30 years. I wish the wise men in Congress would stick to domestic issues and stay out of war/intel matters. Preemption of on-scene Commanders always results in poor decisions.
