Senator Arlen Specter leaves the Republican Party

Well, finally Arlen Specter shows his true colors. As if we hadn’t seen them before. He was never a Republican in anything but name. Being challenged by a seemingly conservative and being pummeled in the polls, grasping to keep a seat in the Senate, any seat at all, he is leaving the Republicans Party.  I think the only thing he seems concerned with is keeping a place at the table.  He can now be the moderate Democrat that they cannot depend on. Good riddance.

  1. This is a good thing. This guy will vote with the Treasonous Demo-Communists on every major issue – it is much better to have him sit on the side of the aisle on which he longs to be. He’s a shit-head and I’m thrilled to see him go. Now all we have to do is chase Olympia Snowe and that other idiot RINO from Maine out, and maybe the Reps can get back to their traditional values. My guess is that those two are not very far behind.

  2. Now Republican ‘moderates’, i.e. liberal assholes who are actually Dem-Communists, like Oly Snowe. Lindsey Graham, and useful idots like David Frum, who proposes to ‘change conservatism so it can win again’, are already out there saying ‘this is what happens when Conservatives demonize moderates.’. Well, I really don’t see any in the vote counts – just one less back-stabbing, pandering RINO. I hope McCain and his idiot daughter change parties, too.
